DamiCare Konsults is a legally established Finnish company of which line of business is branched into two: education consultancy and recruitment services.

A study reveals that, in the next 10 years, Finland will need additional 30 000 nurses/caregivers to take care of its healthcare needs because of government regulations, acute shortage of healthcare professionals, the effects of Covid-19, the increasing ageing population, and the number of nurses that would have retired by that time. In Finland, it is estimated that 3000 nurses retire every year without a corresponding number of nurses to fill up the gap coupled with the increasing ageing population. All these factors have contributed to the perennial shortage of nurses/caregivers in Finland.

However, it is believed that it is practically impossible for Finland to meet up with this required number of nurses/caregivers without recruiting them from abroad. It is against this background that DamiCare Konsults considers it imperative to foray into the Finnish healthcare sector to provide both the short-term and long-term solutions to the intractable problem through the recruitment of nurses/caregivers from abroad and by facilitating the admission of Finnish speaking international students into Nursing degree programme in Finland respectively. The motivation for the establishment of this company is primarily predicated on the selfless need to heed the clarion call to make impactful contribution to the Finnish healthcare sector through the provision of the aforementioned services.
